Biography

Trish is a professional designer and open government evangelist, passionately involved in open data, digital strategy, online communications and anything to do with design, be it graphic, industrial, architectural or urban.

From its inception in 2009 to 2014, Trish led the City of Toronto’s innovative and internationally recognized open data program. She has managed in-house corporate design and web teams for the cities of Toronto and Scarborough and has worked as an artist and architectural renderer for real estate developers, design firms, and municipal planning offices in Toronto and Western Canada.

Trish counts herself extremely fortunate to have landed right side up in the midst of a bunch of bright, innovative and extremely imaginative idea people, pole vaulters, tunnellers and sidlers, all obsessed with opening up governments everywhere.
